If you’ve often wondered how it feels to “breathe underwater” and want to experience it without doing a full dive course right now, the Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) program will help you to find out if diving is fun.
While you don‘t complete a dive certification, you’ll learn a lot during the Discover Scuba Diving program, such as using the dive equipment in shallow water and a quick and easy introduction how to explore the underwater world.
Experience diving under the direct supervision of an experienced PADI Instructor. Like most people, after your first underwater breath you will not get enough of scuba diving. The fun fact of breathing under water for the first time is an experience that is nothing like anything else. It takes a while to get used to it – we humans are not naturally made for it – but after a few minutes of surprises, most realize how easy it is to dive. The biggest challenge for a scuba instructor in the Discover Scuba Diving program is not to get participants into the water, but out of the water when the program comes to an end. Where is the fun factor? Everything is fun!
If you’ve already had your first dive experience with a DSD, you can just join the Similan Islands on one of our day trips and dive with a dive instructor.
If you do not have any diving experience, you must first go into the pool so that you can dive safely and comfortably while diving in open water at the Similan Islands on one of our day trips.
